Just completed reading The Kite Runner and now I feel like watching the movie. The story is so empowering and I was so into the story that I was imagining myself on the dusty streets of Kabul during war and being part of the community there eating naans (okay, maybe not naans as the people there could not afford even that during the war). One thing I feel sad (not really sad but it's just a tiny bit of emotion you will feel when you read something so regretful) about was Hassan dying without knowing his true heritage. He was not a full-fledged Hazara but he was actually a mixed Pashtun and Hazara.
Going back to college tomorrow. Halfway through assignments and still digging for ways to organize the chapters.
Siti Nurbaya is actually quite nice. For those who are clueless, it's actually the new Indonesian drama currently being broadcasted on TV3 every Monday to Thursday from 2.30-3.30 p.m..
Well, Sapphire Blu, I will watch online since I can watch whenever I want to. =)
