Wai Yee's Wedding

Weddings are such joyous occasions and everyone celebrates in them.

The celebrated couple

The preparation for the wedding on Saturday (23 October 2010)

Staircase railing by Melanie and Esther. I reckon this is the most difficult job of all as they work under pressure literally. A work done without air-conditioned environment.

I didn't know about the necessities of a wedding until now. The table where the bride and groom sign the papers and the partaking of the Holy Communion.

Before the backdrop is stitched on the curtains.

Finally, all are in place for the big day! Aisle=checked, arch=checked and the backdrop=CHECKED!

THE BIG DAY

The bride (Wai Yee) and groom (Cheah Ching) exchanging their "I Do's" and vows witnessed by family and friends.

Meanwhile, we are at the back snapping pictures.

Seao Yee and me

After the event:

It's time for clean up and here's a picture of Esther and Seao Yee trying to be flower girls.

There's much talk about getting married among the girls during the preparation and the wedding day itself and I wonder whether this is what a wedding makes you think - getting married yourselves. I for one, is not excited at all at the mention of marriage. Is there something wrong with me? I don't know. Maybe I just enjoy the freedom of being single. =)

The eleventh month will soon be here

It's more than halfway through October. Mind-boggling how time moves at that unbelievable speed.

Sushi King RM2 Bonanza

The Sushi King RM2 Bonanza is here once again. Went to Ipoh Parade with Miss Nurainie and Alfred and we don't have to queue at all since it was still early (11am).

Didn't think to snap pictures at all in the first place but there's something delicious so I must at least snap a picture of the sushi I took two rounds.

Unagi. Very delicious.

I haven't been to Sushi King often and I think it's my first time eating this. Look at the colours!

These are some of the plates we accumulated. Three persons = 15 plates only. It's such a waste. I should have taken more plates if only my stomach has not surrendered so fast.

Miss went to get her new Blackberry Curve as her current phone desperately needs a replacement. Time to rest in peace.

Blackberry, you have to work hard from now on snapping beautiful pictures of cupcakes!!!

It sure feels good to hold it and realises that you actually own it.

♥ Selamat ulang tahun, mamaku yang paling cantik lagi menawan ♥

It is the birthday of someone so very important in my life. Without her, I am nothing. Literally. So here it is.

May the best comes your way as God continues to bless you abundantly on your birthday. Muaxie muax!!! ♥♥♥

P.S. You like it, mommy? Here's the larger image.

Orientation Night (9 October 2010)

My final Orientation Night is over. It was a day before The Triple Ten and wow, it was awesome. I didn't snap pictures at all so the few pictures you are about to see are stolen from Facebook. Thanks, Patricia!

This is a super duper lazy post. It happens all the time. I don't know why I am even blogging in the first place when I am so lazy. I guess it's an obligation to my almost 6-year-old blog.

The backdrop in the ballroom of Heritage Hotel. It was also the dance competition finale hence the theme.

Patricia and I

One of the contestant in the running for Mr. Olympia, Mok and Patricia. I looked like I have highlights in this picture.

Mr. M4

The MC of the night, Suet Yan. This was like after a few attempts of self-snapping when we finally found Mr. Choo to snap the picture for us.

The performances were great and I watched more than eat. I love the prawn dish the most.

After the event:

Went home and snapped ji mui pic with Eunice (who also went for her Prom Night in Tower Regency Hotel)

The highlight of the post: The Food and not my Bruised Knees

Just finished my first set of assignments and before I begin with another one (more headaches to come), I shall take a break by posting about the Penang trip.

First, an accident happened the night before the trip.

I fell on my two knees. They hurt so bad for seconds. Then nothingness. This was snapped after one day of the fall.

On the third day. It spreads like the map of Asia.

Just now. Got some yellow patches here and there. Rivers, perhaps?

Okay. Enough of pictures of my bruises. Let's move on to happier things. Food again!

We had a great time dining in the hotel at Sandy Bay Paradise. It was raining so heavily and we were freezing when we stepped into the dining place. Had to ask the waiter to switch off the air conditioner and we felt so much better.

Pudding with a grape on it.

Cakes

More pudding. The chef loves to make loads of puddings.

And cakes for the guests. I need insulin if I finish the desserts on the buffet line.

Crabs! Sumptious!

Grilled lamb with mint sauce

The next day: PRANGIN MALL

Mi Goreng. Forgot to snap a picture of my laksa. Gone into my stomach so much sooner than the lens.

Saw this cute mannequin in one of the shops. So cute. Smooch!!

P.S. Took Crystle to see the vet this morning since her balding problem got more serious. She is on drugs for now. I pray that her fur will grow fast.

The wait

The resume is sent and now it's the waiting time. I hope I get to train in Rasa Sayang or else I will have to end up in Hard Rock which I put as my second choice.

No time to waste. Time to type like frenzy.

My lecturers are the best this semester. Thank God for good teachers and companions.
