Bukit Merah Family Day

Updated post with pictures!

I have three trips to write about and if I don't start right now, I am afraid I will not update about the trips at all. I don't know where the camera is so I shall update without the pictures first. Stay tuned! The pictures are coming!

So we reached Bukit Merah at 9am on the fine morning of 12 December and we were excited because we thought that the Waterworld had lots to offer. Well, it was kind of disappointing for me because I could not play the slides and the wave pool does not have waves but it was a good and refreshing retreat for families.

The following picture is available because it so happened to be in my phone memory. This was snapped when my sis and I were sky-cycling. The amazing thing about this ride was that we were in control in moving or stopping the ride.


I didn't know there are sheep in Malaysia, or even more surprisingly, in Perak!


The officiator (don't really remember who he was) officiated the Family Day. I was waiting to see the balloons soared into the sky but they didn't. They were attached to strings tied to the drain cover.

There were no pictures of us playing in the water and the Boomerang because the camera could not breathe underwater. So I shall fast-forward to the time when we had changed and headed to the chair lift section.

Halfway through the chair lift ride, we could choose to get down and explore the surroundings of the resort and snap photos. How nice it is to stay on the water for a retreat! I want to try this one day.

We had lunch after that and the food was near terrible. Still edible but it was not delicious. Reached home at about 2.30pm and I was so knocked out that I slept till 5 something. I would have slept longer if I hadn't need to go to church that night for the traditional stayover before youth camp.

Too tired to blog

I am going to procrastinate again. Back from Youth Camp but I have to pack for tomorrow's Genting trip (it's my first trip and I am excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!) so I am going to postpone the Bukit Merah post to another day. Sorry!=P

A little something before I come back

Spent my morning and a little bit of my afternoon at Bukit Merah. Tiring but it was fun! The waterpark there was beautifully constructed. I loved the wave pool the most. Will blog about it after I come back from Youth Camp. Yes, in about 3 hours, I will be at church for the overnight and will only be back on Tuesday for a short update before I pack again for Genting the very next day.

Teluk Batik day trip

Went for a trip to Teluk Batik and it was pretty uneventful although some things happened on the way and after. People getting lost, anger and bickerings are things that cannot possibly be avoided when so many people are involved in a trip. But we enjoyed ourselves nevertheless.

The moment we reached, I could not help taking out my humble 1.3 megapixel camera and took some pictures.


Not too bad, eh? This was snapped in the morning around 10.27pm. Looked more like taken in the evening.


I love this shot the most. It has some sort of artistic feeling to it, don't ya think so? Ju Dee was posing for Patricia to snap her photo.


I can't believe I set foot at Teluk Batik for the first time. Time to immortalize the moment in this pic. My feet slowly buried by the sand as the waves slapped the beach.

The next destination was to Lumut and we did some shopping and then we ate seafood at Villa Seafood Restaurant at Sitiawan.

Good job to the photographer for making each individual dish looks so apppetizing! The whole meal only costs RM16.50 per person. There were 20 of us.

Was thinking about blogging only tomorrow about my Teluk Batik trip but something made my eyes sparkled and I said to myself, "No, I have to blog about this right away!"

International Cuisine at Keris Cafe

RM15 worth of food is still swimming in my tummy now. Thank you Shinystar for treating me this wonderful meal. So tell me what you want for Christmas? I treat you at Indulgence, okay? Hehehehe....

Keris Cafe offered International Cuisine today. Don't really know what International Cuisine is all about? Never mind, I don't know either. But the pictures should be able to tell something, eh?

I had no idea peanut butter sauce would taste so good. I initially thought that it'll be weird. I was so wrong. I LOVE THE PILAF RICE!!! So fragrant and absolutely mouth-watering.

P.S. Ju Dee fetched me home today and I really thank the Lord for making the rain stop just for me to get down. Not long after that, the rain started pouring heavily like before. I love you, Lord!

Post examination

Exam is officially over for me and now it's time for some fun times.

I have plans for tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. I know, busy month for me. Then on Saturday, I'll be heading north to Bukit Merah and later at night, stay over at church (a tradition of the youths) because the next day will be YOUTH CAMP!!

What's next? Genting trip will be a day after I come back from youth camp. Wow, not much time for rest but there's plenty for fun!

Classes resume beginning of January and I'll be in the 3rd semester. 2 more semesters after that and I'm off to training. Rasa Sayang, here I come!
